The "Bark Parks" are a great place to bring your dogs to exercise. The areas are fully fenced in. The "Bark Parks" at Bluhm and Creek Ridge feature many events for the dog to enjoy like; Tire Jump, Dog Walk, Window Jump, Rover Jump Over, Doggie Crawl, King of the Hill, and Pause Table.

Registration and Daily or Annual Permit are required for each dog present. Owners must present their No-Leash Dog Permit upon request. Daily fees and Annual fees are paid on site. Fees collected are divided equally between the Parks Department and Small Animal Shelter for the upkeep of the facility and operational costs.

Daily Fee: $3.00 Per Day Per Dog (LaPorte County Resident)
$4.00 Per Day Per Dog (Out of County Resident)

Annual Fee: $30.00 First Dog (LaPorte County Resident)
$40.00 First Dog (Out of County Resident)
$10.00 Each Additional Dog


No-Leash Dog Park Rules

All pets must be under owner's control at all times and are the responsibility of the owner.

If you cannot control your dog off-leash, then you must keep it leashed at all times!

Dogs are to be leashed before entering and leaving the No-Leash fenced area.

Dogs must be leashed in all other areas of the County Parks at all time.

Aggressive or female dogs in heat are not allowed!

Dogs must be licensed in their township and have up to date vaccinations.

Do not allow your pets to harm humans, other pets, or wildlife!

Never leave your pets unattended!

Clean up after your pets with supplied waste bags!

Seal the waste in the bag before disposing of it in the dog waste container.

The future of this area depends on dog owners behaving responsibly and obeying all the rules.
