October 16, Star and Moon Theater- Learn about the moon and stars, make arts and crafts, and do some star and moon gazing.
October 23, Who’s Out There- Learn about animals and what they do at night. Make animal arts and crafts, and go on an animal hike in the dark.
October 30, Halloween Fun- Come in costume and do some fun Halloween activities.

“A Trek through the Rain Forest”
Create your own three-dimensional bird during this fun art and craft program. Artist Richard Watson will be the instructor of this fun experience. Sign up fast, this program is sure to fill up.

Trunk or Treat

Red Mill County Park
$2 per child
Trick or treat from car to car in the parking lot at Red Mill County Park. Decorate your vehicles and provide some “Halloween treats” to share. Car and costume judging with prizes. Pumpkin decorating. Ages 3-15, children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required in order to get a count for treat distribution.

Tea Party

Bring your favorite cup and come drink tea or lemonade at the fireplace overlooking the Little Calumet River in Red Mill County Park. We will have the tea or lemonade to fill your cup along with a continental breakfast. We will have binoculars to view wildlife in our park.

Grab your apron and mix up some fun! We will make some crazy concoctions and silly fun recipes with chef Cathy Dye. Some of our creations will be edible, and some may not; all will be fun! Walk away with some recipes and a tummy filled with yummy food. Aprons are suggested, but not provided.
